About Yulia

Prior to entering the legal profession Yulia studied philology, working as an interpreter for large organisations translating and explaining financial situations.

Upon moving to Australia, Yulia studied law and was admitted as a Barrister on the 6th August 2008 and later became a member of Bennett Chambers Group in Brisbane in 2011.

Yulia has appeared in numerous Courts and Tribunals throughout Queenslandincluding the Magistrates, District and Supreme Court of Queensland, Court of Appeal of Queensland, QCAT, Federal Circuit Court of Australia, and Family Court of Australia.

Yulia has a strong sense of social justice and specialises in litigation and is pleased to accept instructions in chamber applications, trials and appeals.

Yulia accepts Legal Aid work for criminal, family and child protection matters as well as ICL and pro bono work upon request.
